PetroChina Qingyang Petrochemical Company is located in Xifeng District, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, in the hinterland of Changqing Oilfield. It is a key fuel-type short-flow refining enterprise of PetroChina in the Longdong old revolutionary base area. Founded in 1971, after relocation renovation and multiple rounds of technical upgrading, its calibrated primary crude oil processing capacity reaches 3.7 million tons per year. It is equipped with 18 main refining and chemical production units, mainly processing Changqing crude oil. As an important production base for refined oil and chemical raw materials in Northwest China, it is known as the "Pearl of Longyuan".

The company produces more than 20 petrochemical products covering six categories, including National VI standard gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, propane, propylene, polypropylene, MTBE, benzene, sulfur and petroleum coke. Among them, polypropylene is its core specialty chemical product with multiple customized grades. Its products supply the Northwest China market, and some grades are exported overseas. The enterprise has established a complete QHSE management system covering quality, health, safety and environment, equipped with professional testing laboratories. It implements strict product quality control and complete inspection and traceability, and can steadily provide customers with standardized oil products and chemical resin raw materials.

In terms of technological innovation and green low-carbon development, Qingyang Petrochemical continuously carries out research on long-cycle operation of units and digital & intelligent transformation. It adopts central control systems to realize centralized management of all plant units, optimizes process parameters, implements the transformation strategy of reducing fuel output and increasing chemical production, and raises the output of high value-added chemical products. The company implements full-process closed-loop management of waste gas, wastewater and solid waste, continuously launches technical renovation projects for energy and water conservation, practices clean production, and has been awarded the title of provincial green factory, building a demonstration green refinery in Northwest China.
